At L.A.B Air Conditioning, we’re a proud family-run business dedicated to keeping Perth homes comfortable all year round. We specialise in reverse cycle ducted and split system air conditioning, delivering tailored solutions backed by over 20 years of hands-on industry experience.
From expert installations to reliable servicing and maintenance, our focus is on quality workmanship you can trust. What truly sets us apart is our aftercare — our commitment doesn’t end once the job is complete. We’re here for our clients long after installation, providing ongoing support whenever it’s needed.
Outside of work, we’re passionate about dirt bike riding and love getting out on the bikes whenever we can. It’s something we enjoy doing together and a great way to switch off, get outdoors and spend time as a family.

How long does a reverse cycle ducted system take to install?
It usually takes around 2 full days to complete a standard reverse cycle ducted installation.
How long does a split system installation take?
Most split system installations take 3–4 hours for a simple back-to-back install. However, this can vary depending on factors such as the layout, pipe run length, electrical requirements, and the type of home.
What is a back-to-back installation?
A back-to-back installation is when the indoor and outdoor units are installed on opposite sides of the same wall, allowing for a shorter and more efficient pipe run.
How often should I get my AC system serviced?
We recommend servicing your system every 12–24 months to ensure it runs efficiently and reliably. In addition, filters should be cleaned every 3 months to maintain performance and air quality.
Is electrical work included in the quote?
Yes — all electrical work is included in our quotes with no hidden costs.
Do you assist with regassing units?
Yes, we are fully licensed to regas systems if they are low on refrigerant gas.
Do you charge to come out and provide a quote for a new installation?
No — all quotes for new installations (whether we supply the unit or not) are free of charge.
What is your call-out fee to diagnose an existing issue?
Our standard call-out fee to diagnose existing air conditioning issues is $100 inc. GST.
What areas do you service?
Peak period (Oct–March): Baldivis, surrounding suburbs, and locations within a 30km radius of Baldivis.
Off-peak (Apr–Sept): Extended service area — from Dawesville (south) up to Joondalup (north).
Do you offer aftercare support?
Yes — this is what sets us apart. We provide ongoing support even after installation and are always available for advice, servicing, or maintenance when needed.
What warranty do you offer?
We provide a 5-year warranty on all parts and labour, giving you peace of mind that your system is backed by quality workmanship and long-term support.
What brand do you recommend?
We typically recommend Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for their reliability and performance, however we can supply and install all major air conditioning brands.
Do you assist with Evaporative systems?
We do not look after Evaporative systems, however, we do offer to remove them and replace them with a split system or reverse cycle ducted system.
Why is my outdoor unit leaking water?
A leaking outdoor unit during heating mode is usually completely normal. When your system is set to heat, the outdoor unit produces cold air, which can create condensation and water buildup. Some of this water may drip from underneath the unit rather than through the overflow pipe. As long as it’s only happening while the system is heating and the water isn’t excessive, there’s generally nothing to worry about.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfer and credit cards payments (please note that there is a 2% surcharge for credit cards). We also offer finance options through our finance partner, please visit the finance section of our website to apply.
